play Dead and Gone
T.I. & Justin Timberlake vs. Hip Hop - Dead Prez
play Day and Night
Kid Cudi vs. Big Pimpin' - Jay Z

These are mixes I made back when I was actively djing. Two turntables, a mixer and a stack of vinyl recorded to cassette tape in one 45 minute take. No multi track recording, no digital recording, no serato, etc. When I transfered the tapes to digital I had some technical issues so the glitches you hear are from the transfers, not the original recordings.

play Wedding Mix
I recorded this mix in 2001 so that my wedding dj could play it at our wedding reception. It's mostly hip hop including Slick Rick, Beastie Boys, Run DMC, ODB and A Tribe Called Quest. 22 Minutes
play Dirt Burglar
From deep in the cassette vault comes the Dirt Burglar Mixtape. I made this mix in the early 2000's. It features Wu-Tang Clan and Jeru the Damaja remixes, Gang Starr, Run DMC, Nas, Mobb Deep w/ Rakim, BDP, Audio Two, Biggie, De La, Common, and more.
play WFMU Mix
I made this a long time ago after record shopping at the wfmu record flea market in Manhattan. I just recorded a quick mix with all the records I had bought that day so that I could listen to them at work the following week on my headphones. So there was no practice or forethought, just playing music on the fly, but it turned out pretty good - a lot of James Brown production and funk 45's, and some blaxploitation soundtracks.
